Heavyweight Fishing Banners: Summon Rates and Pity
The 1,000-pull Secret pity is the number that should shape your whole plan. At 0.1% base rate, pity is not a safety net you hope to avoid — for most players it is the actual acquisition method for Egoless Technique and Celestial Gatebreaker. Everything else is about getting to 1,000 pulls cheaply, which means Ticket quests every day.

Where Tickets and Gems come from
- Tickets — the daily easy and hard Ticket quests from the quest giver on Beginning Isle, plus codes. 13KActives alone gives 200.
- Gems — daily tasks and beating secret fish. Sanguine Fish pays 20 Gems, the single biggest listed payout in the game.
- Crystals are a separate currency and do not buy summons — they buy trait reroll items from Nanjiang at 5 Crystals each. See traits.
Rod skins share the same banners
Seven rod skins — Kraken Rod, Taiji Twin Scythe, Divine Spear Rod, Wisteria Caster, Demonic Rod, Lifebloom Rod and Anchorbound Rod — roll from these same two banners, so summon pulls are diluted between skills and cosmetics. Collecting five Kraken Rods awakens it into the AWK Kraken Rod.
